What is an event type?
An event type is the kind of booking an event is, such as Casting, Fitting, Shoot or Campaign. Each event type has a name and a color.
Every event you create needs an event type. Once your types are set up:
- Events on the calendar show in the color of their type, so you can tell bookings apart at a glance.
- You can filter the Statement page and the Talent performance report by event type.
Where to find event types
- Click Settings at the bottom of the left sidebar.
- Click Event types in the Settings menu.
This page lists all your event types with their name and color.
Create an event type
- Go to Settings > Event types.
- Click New event type.
- Enter a Name, for example "Campaign".
- Pick a Color.
- Save the event type.
Each event type name must be unique within your agency. To rename an event type or change its color, click the actions menu next to it and select Edit.
Use an event type on an event
When you create or edit an event, choose one of your event types in the Event type field. If the list is empty, create an event type first using the steps above.
