An event is a booking, such as a casting, fitting or shoot. You first add the basics, then add the talents, timings and fees, and finally save it as a draft or confirmed booking.
Before you start, make sure you have at least one event type set up. See Event Types.
Step 1: Add the basics
- Click Events in the left sidebar.
- Start a new event:
- In Calendar view, click a day or drag across a time slot. The date and time you pick are filled in for you.
- In Agenda view, click the New event (+) button.
- Fill in the details:
- Event type: the kind of booking. This is required.
- Title: for example "Nike Air Max SS27 Campaign". This is required.
- Customer, Tags and Description (optional).
- Click Save & Add Talents.
The event is saved as a draft and the full event page opens.
Step 2: Add talents and the rest of the details
On the event page you can:
- Set the Starts and Ends date and time, or turn on All day.
- Add a Location by searching for a place.
- Enter the Amount for the booking.
- Click Add talent to pick the talents for this booking, then enter a fee for each talent.
Step 3: Save the event
Choose how to save it:
- Save as draft: keep working on it later. Use this while the booking is still on hold.
- Save as confirmed: the booking is final.
If any talent on the event is already booked at the same time, Flowboard shows a Scheduling conflict message listing the overlapping events. Click Go back to change the event, or continue to save it anyway.
Cancel an event
To cancel a booking, open the event and click Mark as cancelled, then confirm.
